As a bioinsecticide,Beauveria bassianainfects and ultimately kills these pests through anatural biological process, offering an eco-friendly alternative to chemical insecticides that fits seamlessly into integrated pest management(IPM) systems.
How Technology Works
Unlike conventional chemical treatments,Beauveria bassiana-based bioinsecticides work through direct contact with pests. The fungus sporesadhere to the insect’s outer layer, germinate, and penetrate the body, releasing natural toxins that cause a fatal infection.This process reducespest populations without leaving chemical residues, supporting environmental health and consumer safety.
Among theBeauveria bassianastrains developed at Bionema, BNL201 and BNL202 have demonstrated exceptional efficacy and consistency.
These two strains have proven highly active across various pest species and environmental conditions.BNL201 and BNL202 have shown reliable pest control in field trials, even under challenging conditions.
