Groprim™ is a unique biological product derived from fermentation of the seaweed Sargassum wightii. Unlike many seaweeds grown in temperate regions, Sargassum is grown mainly in warm, tropical regions (e.g., Indian Ocean), where it is endowed with biostimulant substances. Thus, Sargassum derived Groprim™ may be more effective than extracts from temperature region seaweeds. Sargassum seaweeds have an innate ability to synthesise their own food in hostile environments.

How does it work
Groprim™ is derived from the fermentation of Sargassum seaweed by deploying a cold process, in which microbial organisms rupture the cell wall and release the biostimulant substances into a broth. Groprim™ helps in optimising vegetative growth in the initial phases of crop growth. It promotes better tillering, vegetative growth, root growth and nutrient uptake. Groprim™ also activates soil bacteria, especially rhizosphere bacteria which are responsible for better growth of root system. Groprim™ is used as an effective foliar spray and soil application product.

Groprim™ is made from a unique down streaming process after fermentation of seaweed, thereby enabling retention of all biostimulant substances naturally present in Sargassum seaweed. Hence, it contains growth promoting biostimulants such as auxins, cytokinins, gibberelins, betaines, biologically activated nutrients and hydrolyzed protein complexes, all of which aid in cell division and cell elongation and promote plant growth and tillering. Groprim™ contains 50-100 ppm of these biostimulant substances.
